By attending any Adventure Queens activity, you are immediately agreeing to the terms of this disclaimer.
THE QUITE BORING BUT VERY IMPORTANT PART, SO PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY – LIMITATION OF OUR LIABILITY
You must be at least 18 years of age. Subject to the proviso included below, participating in Adventure Queens is entirely at your own risk.
Although not hugely physical, Adventure Queens activities will involve a degree of physical activity such as hiking. It is your responsibility to ensure that you participate within your own physical capacity and accounting for any medical conditions you may have.
Adventure Queens may include hiking up steep hills and over obstacles. This could increase your risk of injury. You use such obstacles and any location at which any Adventure Queens activity is held entirely at your own risk.
You are responsible for any belongings you may bring with you to any Adventure Queens activity and agree to take all belongings including rubbish away with you, respecting ‘leave no trace’.
Adventure Queens and its volunteers will not be liable for (whether for negligence, breach of contract, misrepresentation or otherwise) any loss or damage incurred by any participant (including with respect to property) or any indirect or consequential loss or damage suffered by any participant, provided that nothing in this disclaimer will operate to exclude or restrict liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence.
BEING SNAPPED – REGARDING PHOTOGRAPHS AND FILMS
During Adventure Queens activities, you may be photographed or filmed by Adventure Queens’ Chief Queens, fellow Adventure Queens, other amateur or professional photographers/filmmakers. By attending any Adventure Queens activity, you agree that you may be photographed and/or filmed by such people and that the resulting images may be used, published and/or made the subject of intellectual property rights (such as copyright) by us or (as we direct) by a third party for editorial, promotional, media or any other lawful purpose. If you are NOT comfortable being photographed and/or filmed please notify the event organiser in writing in advance of the event and notify fellow attendees.
