The Adventure Queens Grant
The Adventure Queens Grant supports three bold and adventurous women to embark on a human-powered, boundary-pushing, life-changing journey. Through funding, kit, and mentoring, the grant helps bring ambitious adventure ideas to life. One of the three grant places is dedicated to a woman whose proposed adventure centres on connecting with nature, as part of our Jessi Tucker Memorial Grant.
Jessi was our longest-serving Adventure Queens volunteer, working closely with our founders to help shape the incredible community we have today. A woman of many talents, Jessi was a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and had completed numerous expeditions. She was also a poet, an emergency medicine doctor, and an award-winning writer — and to us, a true champion of Adventure Queens. A deep lover of the natural world, Jessi now rests beneath a beautiful oak tree in Surrey.

2025/26 Grant Winners
We received almost 80 applications for the 2025/26 Adventure Queens Grant — a huge thank you to everyone who applied, as well as to our brilliant panel of judges.
Drum roll, please…
We’re delighted to introduce our three fantastic winners:
Andrea Lo
Andrea is planning a solo hike along the Cape Wrath Way, travelling slowly and primarily wild camping. Along the way, she’ll immerse herself in the wilderness through wild swimming in lochs and reflective journaling. @4ndrealo
Rosie King
Rosie will take on a solo, seven-day sea kayaking journey around the Isles of Scilly. Paddling between turquoise coves and white-sand beaches, she plans to circumnavigate islands, sleep under the stars, and experience each day on the water as a moving meditation — reconnecting deeply with the natural world. @zenoctober
Claire Davies Tyler
Claire is planning a solo, multi-day bikepacking adventure along Scotland’s Badger Divide. Tackling remote, off-road terrain, she’ll be self-sufficient while managing her autoimmune condition. Through her journey, Claire hopes to share the joy of cycling and inspire more women to ride. @pedalforpastry
We’ll be sharing more about Andrea, Rosie and Claire’s plans and adventures in our Facebook group, on Instagram, and on our blog over the coming months — so keep an eye out!
The 2026/27 Adventure Queens Grant
If you missed the chance to apply for the 2025/26 grant — or applied but weren’t successful — please don’t be discouraged. We’ll be launching the 2026/27 Adventure Queens Grant later this year, opening the door for the next group of badass women ready to kick-start a big adventure in 2027. Start dreaming, start planning (human-powered and boundary-pushing, of course), and keep your eyes peeled for more details in Autumn.
