How easyfundraising can be used to support Adventure Queens

Apr 14, 2025 | Adventure Queens

Adventure Queens is now registered with easyfundraising, which means you can raise FREE donations for us every time you shop online. Did you know that whenever you buy anything online – from your weekly shop to your annual holiday – you could be raising free donations for Adventure Queens with easyfundraising?  These donations really mount up and make a BIG difference to us, so we’d really appreciate it if you could take a moment to sign up and support us.

Which shops are involved?

There are over 8,000 retailers on board ready to make a donation – including eBay, Argos, John Lewis & Partners, ASOS, Booking.com and M&S – and it won’t cost you a penny extra to help us raise funds. There are lots of outdoor brands including The North Face, ACAI, Mountain Warehouse and Decathlon; there’s something for everyone.

Is my data safe?

easyfundraising ONLY knows where you have shopped (the retailer) and how much you spent before VAT – nothing more. It uses this information to calculate how much you will receive as your donation for each purchase. easyfundraising will not sell or pass this information data on. You can read more on their privacy policy.

What would my funding go towards?

If just 100 members of our 15,000 strong community sign up, this would enable us to cover our web hosting costs for an entire year.

If 500 members sign up, we can support 2 women with long term health conditions to participate in our Getting into Hiking programme, and reap the immense physical and mental health benefits of the outdoors.

How do current Queens get on with it so far?

AQ Instagram Queen Natasha is a big fan of the scheme. She says:

I have been using easyfundraising for 2-3 years now, since I introduced it to my children’s school PTA. They don’t attend the school any more and I am happily raising money for the Adventure Queens. I was a bit unsure what it was about at first but now I don’t even think about it. I have an extension on my laptop and when I purchase something online it just pops up as a little reminder to ask if I want to raise money through easyfundraising at the same time. I purchased a year’s travel insurance, for example, and made an easy £18 in just one click! I’ve raised £104 in total so far, which is amazing.

Community Leader Nadia agrees:

I get donations through my weekly ASDA shop, work commute (Trainline) as well as many of my holiday bookings. I find using the extension really helpful to remind me which sites make donations – it just pings up when I go to make a purchase!

Carina, the sister of our AQ Community Leader, said:

When I first downloaded the easyfundraising extension I didn’t expect to be able to raise much for AQ since I don’t do much online shopping. I was very surprised to find out my (maybe 10) purchases had raised £23.40, most notably when I bought and had two new tyres fitted at Halfords last year! There are currently 34 AQ supporters using this extension out of 15.3k members on the main AQ FB page. I guess what I’m trying to say is, by doing absolutely nothing extra you can help raise a surprising sum for AQ – whether that’s little and often or through fewer bigger purchases.
